Animals both real and fantastical will be brought to life through the imaginations of two brilliant composers, with imagery and storytelling from production company Mash Productions and award-winning artist Emily Carew-Woodard. The Firebird tells the tale of a prince and princess, an evil wizard and a magical, mythical creature, alongside Stravinsky’s much-loved suite to bring the story vividly to life for children of all ages. A chamber concert performance of Saint-Saëns’ wickedly humorous and lovable menagerie of animal portraits, The Carnival of the Animals, will thrill listeners young and old. An unmissable occasion!
