Don’t miss artist Kevin Killen’s bright and beautiful installations

Kevin Killen presents Senses of Light, an exhibition in Exchange House and beyond, showcasing a visual interpretation of Broadgate’s vibrant energy designed to light up the winter months. The exhibition will be evolving in its space from mid November to March 2019.

Following a night-time photography and audio recording session of nearby Bishopsgate and beyond, Killen translated the images and sounds into a series of energising light drawings. The resulting cartographic works on paper offer traces of the routes undertaken by road users and pedestrians at particular moments. 

Referring directly to these glimpses of subtle movement, Killen subsequently designed two bespoke kinetic sculptures for Broadgate which, through their neon pulses and linear form, capture snapshots of transitory activity and map the journeys taken daily by people in and around our spaces
